The films nominated for the 1st International Auto Film Festa are introduced in order of application. This time, “LOVE_4_RAV” [28-year one-owner car, the story of Toyota RAV4 L]” was submitted from Japan, directed by TUNA.
Here is the director’s message that came with the submission.
“A town in northern Kanto, Japan. A short movie about a family who owns a Toyota RAV4, an SUV manufactured by Toyota for 28 years. The footage is one minute and several tens of seconds. The footage is drawn with a documentary touch. This family’s eldest son answers an interview. The footage of running casually is the road this RAV4 has been running for 28 years.”
“Amulets from Japanese shrines and mobile phone chargers are scattered inside the train. The appearance of the car body is also difficult to call Concours d’Elegance. However, this car is full of memories that the family has spun. Automobiles on the street corners have an episode that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with any classic car.”

We want to tell you first, but it will be a separate article, but I have a special interview with the director of TUNA.The anecdotes about how he started filming after deciding to enter the film festival and the equipment used for the filming were a series of surprises. The classic car mentioned here refers to a vehicle that is said to be famous. The RAV4, the main character of this time, is a popular mass-produced car. RAV4s were everywhere in those days. It may not be a specialty car, but it is unique and special for the family.
I can understand that feeling because I remembered even one episode with my family and car when I saw this video.
