Behind the Scenes: The Grassroots Beginnings of IAFF

 

IAFF is not operated by a large corporation or organization.

 

It is a film festival started by a small group of individuals who love cars and filmmaking. We began with nothing but the pure excitement of wanting to share the world’s coolest automotive films with everyone.

 

Until now, our operations have been sustained solely by the personal contributions of our members, the support of volunteers, and the generosity of those who have provided us with venues.

 

To be honest, there have been times when we felt frustrated because we couldn’t achieve everything we envisioned due to our limited budget.

 

 

 

Expanding Our Community of Film Festival Enthusiasts

 

What we value most is using this crowdfunding campaign as an opportunity for everyone to see what goes on inside IAFF.

 

We want to share the stories of how we communicate with directors from all over the world. By letting you in on these behind-the-scenes experiences, we hope to grow this film festival together with our supporters.

 

The funds raised through this campaign will be used primarily for the following activities to create a “connection” between you and IAFF:

 

• Creating opportunities to get to know the directors and organizers personally.
• Thoughtfully sharing the backgrounds and stories behind the films.
• Documenting and reporting on the festival to preserve its legacy.
• Building a community for festival operations.
